Moussa Diallo, Haiti project - under development.

Port-au-Prince, Haiti, November 5, 2010

Dear Moussa Diallo

The purpose of this letter is to cordially invite the Moussa Diallo TRIO, on behalf of the Prodev Foundation, to perform for the children of Haiti in the month of May 2011.

Established in 1996 by Max Penette and Daniel Kedar, under the direction of Maryse Penette Kedar, PRODEV the “Foundation for Progress and Development” has for principal objective, the development of Haiti , through positive initiatives, especially in the realm of education, with particular stress on youth.

After the catastrophic earthquake that hit Haiti last January, Prodev acted promptly in building 14 temporary camp schools to help children get back to some basic education routine as quickly as possible. This year Prodev opened two permanent schools and is at present still running six schools at camps.

Prodev schools provide the normal curriculum while emphasizing creative work in education. We believe that art and creativity are positive building blocks that can provide a way for the youth of Haiti to recover from the many setbacks it had to face and to move forward toward a bright future.

Your visit will be a positive way to lift the spirit of these traumatized children in the camps and also a celebration for the recently opened ECOLLE NOUVELLE at the ZORANJE community.

We will be honored and delighted to welcome you and the Moussa Diallo TRIO in the Port-au-Prince area. We look forward to experiencing your live performances at our various schools. The children and the greater community of ZORANJE will benefit greatly from such an event in which creative interaction can take place.

We would hold the performances between the dates 3rd and 6th of May at Zoranje, and will invite children from camp schools to join the activities.

Yours sincerely

Inbal Timor
